Admissions
Youth Care of Utah accepts adolescents ages 11-18 who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems including depression, mental health issues, and/or drug or alcohol abuse. Youth Care’s Residential Treatment Program combines an accredited school program, recreational therapy, behavior modification, and if necessary, substance abuse counseling. Tuition includes all therapy sessions, psychiatrist visits, academic program, recreational activities and room and board.
Adolescent Residential Treatment tuition is available by contacting Admissions. Many times this cost is covered by health insurance or there are student loans available. Please confirm the current daily rate with an Admissions Counselor.
Day Treatment Programs provide the same therapeutic program as their respective residential programs, but instead of living on campus, students live with families at night and on weekends. Please confirm the current daily rate with an Admissions Counselor.

Financial Aid
Financial Assistance is available for those who qualify. If you're interested in determining if you would qualify for a private loan, we work with an independent loan organization called Clark Behavioral Health Financing. Loans can cover tuition, enrollment fees and miscellaneous expenses including transportation to and from the program. They feature multiple loan products with competitive rates, and a possible deferral of interest for up to 6 months with no prepayment penalties or cancellation fees.
With many loan companies to choose from and because the loan qualification and application process can be confusing, we recommend calling Clark Behavioral Health Financing. They work with many families each year to help guide them through the loan qualification and application process. Even if you don't qualify for a loan, they will advise ways in which you might qualify, including a adding a co-signer or considering credit repair. Typically, Clark Behavioral Health Financing can complete the entire loan process in 5 business days.
