Youth Care residential treatment center for adolescents specializes in working with teens who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems. Students often are experiencing a variety of problems such as:

Some behaviors that would preclude treatment at Youth Care:

  • Aggressive Behaviors that would leave other students or staff at risk
  • Active Suicide Attempts
  • Sexual Perpetrator Behaviors
  • Active Eating Disorder
  • Insulin-dependent Diabetes

Many times students admitted to Youth Care are not happy to be here and may be brought by escort. We do not utilize any government funding sources. Typically this means students at Youth Care are neither court adjudicated students nor are they students whose families are no longer involved. Parents place students directly or with assistance from clinical professionals, educational consultants, insurance companies or school districts.
