Raigan has an extensive background with a wide range of experience. With over seventeen years of experience with the Utah Department of Juvenile Justice Services where he provided a high level of service to youth, families, and within the community. His work history includes Davis County Correctional Facility as one of two primary mental health therapists in the jail, Davis behavioral Health as a counselor treating clients both in private practice and in the Substance Abuse outpatient program, Adolescent to Adulthood Counseling Services, Utah Foster Care, the Fourth Street Homeless Clinic, SPLORE (Special Populations Learning Outdoor Recreation and Education), Rite of Passage, and the Midvale City Police Department within the unit of victims and perpetrators of domestic violence.
Raigan’s clinical education and experience includes a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling where he graduated with Honors, continued as a therapist for the Davis County Jail and settled into his private mental health practice treating youth and adults with both mental health and chemical dependency disorders. Within his role at Youth Care, Raigan provides clinical services to youth drawing upon his personal experience in recovery from substance abuse, and experience working with clients who are diagnosed with chemical dependency.
