Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

LAST UPDATED ON 03/15/2021

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Youth Care Treatment Center to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, there are certain restrictions in place regarding on-site visitation at Youth Care Treatment Center.

  • These restrictions have been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Options for telehealth visitation are continuously evaluated so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff receives ongoing infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance is provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are monitored and utilized.
  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Social distancing strategies have been implemented to ensure that patients and staff maintain proper distance from one another at all times.
  • Cleaning service contracts have been reviewed for additional support.
  • Personal protective equipment items are routinely checked to ensure proper and secure storage.
  • CDC informational posters are on display to provide important reminders on proper infection prevention procedures.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then immediately dispose of the tissue.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces that are frequently touched.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.

A Message from the CEO

At Youth Care, we understand that the decision to enroll your child in a residential program is not an easy one, and we want to personally assure you that we are committed to working with you every step of the way to ensure that you remain informed, engaged, and actively involved in your child’s treatment.

Welcome to the Youth Care website, and thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about our program.

I understand that the decision to enroll your child in a residential program is not an easy one, and I want to personally assure you that we are committed to working with you every step of the way to ensure that you remain informed, engaged, and actively involved in your child’s treatment.

The Youth Care environment is built upon a foundation of mutual respect. Our students are expected to treat staff and peers with respect and in return, they can expect to be treated with respect. We believe that teens in crisis are best served in a home-like setting that emphasizes personalized interactions, close supervision, and comprehensive professional support.

We place a premium on ensuring that Youth Care remains a safe and supportive place for your child, and we promise to never do less than our absolute best in providing him or her with personalized care that will lead to lasting positive change.

In this supportive therapeutic environment, your son or daughter will benefit from the guidance of caring professionals who know each student as unique individuals with specific strengths, weaknesses, hopes, and fears. Each member of the Youth Care staff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program. But even more impressive than their many accomplishments and credentials is their dedication to providing the highest quality of care to our students and families.

From the day your child arrives on our campus until long after he or she has completed our program, your entire family will be valued members of the Youth Care family. This vibrant group of parents and professionals is united in the effort to improve the lives of struggling teens and to provide ongoing support to parents and other caregivers.

For specific details about any aspect of our program, please feel free to call us at the number below or visit our Contact page.

I'm very thankful for the staff at Youth Care. Our son's therapist and his other counselors were fantastic. Everyone we dealt with was caring and very professional. They challenged our son just enough and knew when and how to encourage him and to push him just the right amount. If it wasn't for Youth Care, the chances are great that our son would have overdosed or be in jail by now.
