Originally from Oʻahu’s North Shore, Tiare “Lala” Pickard earned her Master of Social Work in Forensics from the University of Utah in 2025. She brings extensive experience supporting adolescents and families across mental health, residential, and crisis settings, including suicide prevention and community crisis response.
Lala takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative approach, drawing on evidence-based practices such as DBT, ACT, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and family systems. She is passionate about helping youth navigate emotional and relational challenges, build healthy coping skills, strengthen family communication, and develop confidence and resilience.
