Tanya has been in the mental health field for over 30 years and began working with Youth Care in 1990. She also has a background in working at a hospital, being a home health nurse and working in an Eating Disorder treatment program. She has worked in a variety of managerial positions at Youth Care and working in admissions is her favorite so far. “I love being able to offer support to families during such a critical time.” Tanya’s kindness, calmness and responsibility make her a great role model for Youth Care’s adolescent population, as her easy-going nature and tremendous follow-through make her a perfect fit for the team. In her personal time, Tanya likes to be outdoors, listen to great music, travel, cook and is always looking for a fun new DIY home project.
